Personality: Norman hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Patrick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Patrick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Manfred was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
