History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ploughman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Gomory was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ploughman. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has shaved his head bald. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When Conrad reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to find somewhere to settle down
