Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, marred by sweets. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are gray.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Simon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: This late middle aged man wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Balimaar was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Miner. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
