Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Roger was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bricklayer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
