Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shoemaker for the past few years.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
