History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Dilettante like his mother before him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has never given up on his painting dream.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
