Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. His white hair is singed and shortened. His green eyes peer out from beneath his top red hat.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Odo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he is greedy

Description: This man is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is silver and very short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aldous is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Armorer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: An older man who wears bulky brown painted plate armor, he is not a threatening figure. He has no hair. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
