History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Clerebold enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and many giants want him driven away

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A freak accident while working with his Servant father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Servant. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
