History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shepherd born in the past three hundred years. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the west to a Shepherd, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
