Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Being a Dyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
