When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: Thomas speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: Heward was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Blacksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Blacksmith work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.
