History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A freak accident while working with his Merchant father left him crippled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
