History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
