Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is a Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Miles was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and expand his business

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a tan feathered hat and tan clothes. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Born in the east to a Cook, Patrick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Patrick abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This late middle aged man wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sickle, but if one is not available he will default to his whip and is in decent physical shape. He sports a long chestnut beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Geoffrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Geoffrey took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Geoffrey was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He stands about 5'11" and wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has violet eyes and a grey hat with a red feather.
Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.
History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away
