History: Ralf lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Priest, but he got bored and became a Bather. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won.
