Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Robert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.
