He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
