History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thomas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
