Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He wears his chestnut hair down. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are violet.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He is wearing a tight green one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He has blonde hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: William was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Merchant. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
