History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Bernard was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mortician. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Randal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
