His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
