Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in rapier use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Randal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.
