During his travels, Robert and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Robert discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Robert fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Painter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and a deep hatred of drow

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Adelard was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.
