History: Born in the north to a Junk Dealer, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
