History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gilbert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gilbert. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Trey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
