History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Born in the west to a Cook, Kody learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cook. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
