Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Jocelyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Chad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

He prefers to carry a ceremonial dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his pickaxe. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has shaved his head bald. His green eyes peer out from beneath his broad green hat.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Kody reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
