When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bounty Hunter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
