History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Shepherd kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Roland was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
