Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His hair is silver and very short. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: This northern man wears skinny pants and wears a green and violet robe with the hood down. His clothes are grease stained in places. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He takes great joy in being the best Merchant in town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: He wears professional attire. He is physically well-built. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Robert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Dustin liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Dustin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a black tunic with red highlights, and long tan pants that bunch up around his shoes. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Godfrey is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he desires power and/or immortality
