History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge

Personality: Hugh hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
