History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Gerard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Alex never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
