History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has worked as a Marshal like his mother before him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
