The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the west to a Unemployed, Robert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
