Bernard Cromwell, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, marred by sweets. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.
Ideals: Impeccable, Logical. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Rich. Occupation: Map Maker

Percival Harlow, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull white iron scale mail. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. His black hair is heavily combed to the left. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is greedy; and a rival would like him out of the picture
Flaws: Insomniac, Fearful. Bonds: Immigrant, Criminal record, Rich. Occupation: Crown-heir
Voice: Australian accent

Balimaar Everly, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He wears his brown hair up. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Cory Ainsworth, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. He carries a battered morningstar and tarnished greatsword as well. His tied-back hair is chestnut. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Cory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
Ideals: Fighting, Justice. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Religious. Occupation: Apothecary
Voice: Raspy

Aldous Paxton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his scimitar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a clover on it. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
Flaws: Antagonistic, Disease. Bonds: Attractive, Military, Rich. Occupation: Stableman
