History: Aldous was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Tim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
