History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anthony embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born into a rich family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
