Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His hair is long and golden with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, marred by chocolates. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a brown tunic with green highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has decided he is irredeemable
