History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
