Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a spear, but if one is not available he will default to his sword, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'11" when asserting himself. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Dean was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a Sailor soon after.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Conrad was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and many illithids want him driven away
