Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and red robe with the hood down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bertram will drive conversation. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
