History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has achieved small success as a Cook.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and money/treasure

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.
