History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Justin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Justin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Justin. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
