History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
