History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fortune-teller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: This younger middle-aged man is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This exceptionally lanky man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a healer again

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aldous was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
