Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He usually wears his grey robe and has his lance always slung over his shoulder. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized violet coat. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Navigator business.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His brown hair is cut short. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many giants want him driven away
