History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
