Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Anselm was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anselm's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Adventurer job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
