His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He is a Butcher first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Spy profession.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Gilbert took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He tends to his Butcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a golden handlebar mustache and slicked back golden hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
