History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. After coming to the age of reason, Manfred took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. A true patriot, Hubert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hubert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
